Duties included,

Assist the Quality Control manager in the coordination of QC testing and inspection and provide accurate documentation of test and inspection results.  Inspections and testing included soils compaction, structural and pipe welding inspection and pipe placement for screwed and welded pipe.  Review of tests to insure work was satisfactory and implement changes as needed.  Support Project Management with submittals, RFIs, weekly scheduling and materials procurement.

 

Project included the construction of an ore process mill in Cripple Creek Colorado.

Duties include:

Construction supervision. Supervision of field coordination. Monitoring construction costs and schedule. Maintaining a weekly Progress Report of the project. Initiate improvement of design and/or project quality as needed.  Oversee QA/QC specifications and standards.  Insure as-built drawings are kept up to date.  Safety Incident Recording (as necessary).  Approval of risk assessments.  Participation in safety interactions and risk assessments with project contractors. Conduct project team meetings.

 

Projects included (Smelter) the set up and testing of a prototype accretion removal tool on the FC and FC furnaces.  Construction of a 16 stall slag pot cooling station. Installation and commissioning of the East Anode Furnace Cojet Burner System.

Duties included managing projects for Engineering Services projects at the Refinery.

Responsibilities include insuring the contractor is compliant with owner requirements such as BROWZ and SHEAP/RA, monitoring construction costs, work scope, and schedule, improvement of design and project quality.  Participate in hazard analysis for the construction plan. Oversee QA/QC specifications and standards.  Insure as-built drawings are kept up to date.  Conduct project team meetings.

 

Projects included the Refinery Buildings Structural Upgrades, Precious Metals Soda Ash Screw Conveyor, MPC Anode Strapper Conversions, Gold Solvent Extraction Pilot Plant.

HBC International (2008-2009)

Duties included working with the project manager, procurement, engineering, contractors and vendors to identify, track and resolve problems with service and material deliveries.  Create preliminary bid packets for the requisition of materials and services.

 

Responsibilities included:

Create and review materials and services tracking reports to identify real or potential schedule problems, troubleshoot and resolve as required.

 

Coordinate the reporting of information detailing problem areas requiring follow up with project management.

Maintain effective communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.

 

Projects included the 2009 Tailings Barge Relocation, 2010 Tailings Barge Relocation, Waste Water North and South Pipelines, New Magna Gate and Road, UPP Bottom Ash Pipeline Pump Station.

Duties included materials support for the construction of the Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment Plant in Copperton, Multiple projects at the Power Plant, and Smelter, including the 2005, 2006, 2007 Smelter Shutdowns.

 

Responsibilities included:

Requisitioning of materials and equipment to meet “fast track” schedules for construction projects.

Tracking process equipment and instrumentation and controls though the procurement process to insure on time delivery and configuration as specified by engineering.  Inspect project materials and equipment for standards compliance.  Monitoring project fabrications and machining by offsite shops for quality and compliance to the project plan and schedule.
